Death or Success by Committee?

Committees can be an effective way for boards to carry out many of their responsibilities. However, the phrase “death by committee” was coined for a reason!  This introductory and interactive workshop will cover the basics of committees including which committees a board may want to form and why, how to start a committee and write a terms of reference, how to delegate authority to a committee, as well as what committee procedures are. This workshop will be delivered using a combination of presentation and hands-on participant learning and engagement. Participants will leave with several useful resource materials related to committees.
