Danielle Carruthers is the founder of theSedge.org, a global community where the social sector grows entrepreneurial spirit and capacity in social enterprise. Through theSedge.org’s online course, BOOST Academy, Danielle coaches social innovators on building social enterprise strategies today for sustainable impact tomorrow.
Danielle graduated from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. She later pursued a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship under the guidance of Skoll Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship Fellow, Martin Burt. Her professional experience has taken her from entrepreneurial small business through to corporate finance with an international bank. In addition to leading theSedge.org, she also supports gender equality and advancement of women in entrepreneurship as a Principal of FEW (Female Entrepreneurs of the World).
