Stacey has over 15 years of donor relations, customer service, and communications experience. She has a Professional Cooking Diploma from SAIT and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. Stacey was introduced to fund development in 2012 where she then spent four years as the stewardship and communications officer at Mount Royal University. In 2016, she found a new opportunity and a place grow where she makes a significant impact in adult education as a development officer at Bow Valley College. At Bow Valley College, Stacey’s portfolio includes legacy giving as well as annual and leadership giving, in addition to leading the growing internal giving campaign “Choices.” On “Choices,” she loves hearing from the College faculty and staff as they continue to grow the culture of philanthropy on campus, which she finds inspiring .
To help support her colleagues in the sector, Stacey has volunteered for CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education), AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) and is a board member for Ghost River Theatre. In her down time, she combines her love of the outdoors and travelling with good food and wine.
