An Overview of Charitable Gaming Requirements – AGLC

This session will present information on eligibility requirements, licence applications, obtaining approval to spend gaming proceeds and financial reporting.

A crown commercial enterprise, the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) is an agent of the Government of Alberta. The AGLC is responsible for regulating Alberta’s charitable gaming activities and conducting and managing provincial gaming activities.

The Gaming Information for Charitable Groups (GAIN) program is designed to assist volunteers gain a better understanding of the responsibilities and requirements of a gaming licence and to be more accountable to their members and the community.
