Board Development Program Instructor – Mandy Dale

Mandy has worked in technical theatre, arts administration and consulting with companies like The Calgary Spoken Word Festival, Ghost River Theatre, Green Fools Theatre, Quest Theatre and Stage West Theatre. Prior to that she made her living as a professional Stage Manager. Mandy has moonlighted as a teacher, writer, designer, director, workshop instructor, adjudicator and artist in residence. She also works with the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada recruiting and training standardized patients.

Mandy is currently a program coordinator in rural medicine for the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. She has sat on a variety of administrative and governing boards and is presently the chair of her community association. Variety is the spice of Mandy’s life and she thoroughly enjoys facilitating conversations about how to make non-profit boards of directors more effective.
