Dani DeBoice has more than sixteen years experience in marketing and communications, specializing in community relations and corporate citizenship for the past thirteen years. As director of corporate citizenship with First Calgary Financial, Dani provides leadership on community involvement, environmental advocacy and corporate social responsibility. Dani is alumna of Leadership Calgary (Class of 2005) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary. Dani’s career achievements and community contributions have been recognized through Avenue Calgary magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, CTV Calgary’s Inspired by Darrel Janz, the Hazel Gillespie Community Investment Leadership Award, and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal.
Dani volunteers her time with the Mayor’s Civic Engagement committee (chair), Vibrant Communities Calgary (vice-chair), Thrive: Calgary’s Community Economic Development Network, the United Way’s Financial Futures Calgary collaborative, the United Way’s neighbourhood strategy advisory committee, Calgary Economic Development’s Strategy Advisory Committee and the Hazel Gillespie Community Investment Leadership Award committee (chair).
