We have aspirations to make Board Leadership Calgary 2024 a top notch event, and our planning committee is small but mighty. To help the day run as smoothly as possible we could use some help from some committed individuals like you. We have lots of little jobs to be done, so there are many ways to help out. We are looking for people to help us with the following.
- Set-up Crew – meet us bright and early at the venue to help us get everything set-up.
- Registration Team – we are expecting up to 300 people at this year’s event and in a short window of time we need to get everyone their name tags and session assignments.
- Speaker Hosts – we have a great line-up of speakers who may require some assistance finding their assigned workshop spaces and set-up.
- Event Guides – with hundreds of people and up to 10 concurrent sessions, we needs a few guides to help people find their way to their assigned sessions.
- Photographer – if there are no photos, the event didn’t happen (just joking). We are looking for a couple experienced or aspiring photographers to help us capture highlights of the day’s event.
- Busy Bees – with a full day of workshops and activities, there will likely be a few odd jobs that crop up during the day that will need extra hands.
- Tear-Down Crew – when the event finally draws to a close, the work still isn’t quite done. Extra hands at the the end of the day make light work for clean-up.
Anyone who volunteers at the event receives free access to the event to attend sessions (when not working your shift), lunch, coffee and an opportunity to give back to the non-profit sector.

Closer to the event there will be a short 30-minute volunteer orientation online to walk all volunteers through the expectations and logistics for the day. The day and time of the orientation will be provided to all confirmed volunteers closer to the date.
